Good news, everyone! Anon has heard my call and went through the trouble of getting me better scans of the first Mélusine book. So, it's decided: After I'm done with The Crypt of Champignac, I'll start working on Mélusine.
Fabulous work, Anon! Thank you.
It was only really just one guy, hehe.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Gotlib needs translations too. Though that one would be a BIG project, not "something else to do".
I know, I know. ^^ Still, it was very cool of that particular Anon to go through the trouble of getting book 1 & 3 from the library and scanning them. All within less than two days after my first Mélusine post.
DeleteAnd I agree, translating all of Gotlib's work would be a HUGE project. Maybe some other group will pick it up. After all, there's even a group now that's translating Spirou:

Wait, who went to the library to scan what books?
ReplyDeleteAfter my complaint that the scans of the first book of Violine are of low quality, someone sent me a mail, telling me that he scanned book 1 & 3 of Violine, so that I can start translating the series beginning from book 1. :)
Deleteaaah, ok, missed that. I'll upload the new translations to my place once you are done with them.
ReplyDeletethankyouthankyouthankyou times 1 million for translating! My country's libraries have only halloween, and I read that so many times I lost count. can't find good comics in singapore :(
